Belts and Hoses
- The belts and hoses are vital to the operation of your vehicle. They are also one of the more common causes of vehicle break downs. To help prevent your vehicle from breaking down it’s best to have these inspected on a regular basis at your local Tandem Tire location.
- During a belt inspection our technician will check each belt for:
- Possible cracking, glazing, peeling and softening
- Proper belt tension
- Proper drive pulley alignment
- During a hose inspection our technician will check each one for:
- Any obvious leaks
- Any unusual cracking, hardening or softening
- Loose or worn clamps
- Testing the cooling system for possible leaks and perform a cooling system pressure test
